Identity/Profile: name, username, rank, department, company, bio, profile & cover photo

Account: password (stored hashed by Supabase Auth), Google sign-in data (name, email, avatar)
Content: posts, comments, likes, reposts/quotes, messages, uploaded images/videos
Jobs: created job listings, job applications
Security: IP, session and login timestamps (via Supabase)

3. Purposes of Processing

Account creation & authentication; building and displaying your profile; messaging, following and interactions; publishing job listings and handling applications (including CV sharing); notifications; security, anti-abuse/anti-spam, and legal compliance.

4. Legal Bases (GDPR Art. 6)

Consent — optional profile fields, CV upload, messaging
Contract — providing the membership and service
Legitimate interests — security, fraud/spam prevention, service improvement
Legal obligation — compliance with lawful requests

5. Recipients & International Transfers

We use the following processors; your data is processed/stored on their servers (which may be outside your country):

Supabase — database, authentication, file storage
Google — "Sign in with Google" (OAuth)
Vercel — web app hosting

News content is fetched from public RSS sources; no personal data is shared with them.

6. Retention

Data is retained while your account is active and as required by law. When you delete your account, associated data (profile, posts, messages, CV, etc.) is deleted or anonymized within a reasonable period, subject to legal retention duties.

7. Your Rights (GDPR Art. 15–22)

You have the right to access, rectify, erase ("right to be forgotten"), restrict, object to processing, and data portability. Contact kocamandigital@gmail.com; we respond within one month. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

8. Cookies & Local Storage

We use cookies/localStorage for essential/functional purposes only (session, language, theme). No third-party advertising/tracking cookies.

9. Security

Data is transmitted over HTTPS; access is restricted via row-level security (RLS); CVs are kept in private storage accessible only via short-lived signed URLs; passwords are stored hashed.

10. Children's Privacy

The service is intended for users 18 years and older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

11. Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be notified in-app or by email. The current version is always published here.
